She has been trained by Dr. Patrick Lillis, Dr. Giorgio Fischer, and Dr. Lisborg all specialists in liposuction methods. Dr. Lillis is recognized as one of the main authorities in tumescent liposuction, Dr. Fischer is the co-inventor of liposuction, and Dr. Lisborg, is the president of the Austrian Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Yazdanfar has also performed surgery with Dr. Jackson, the current board examiner of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
