The price of liposuction varies from physician to physician. Generally pricing is determined by the area you want to treat, the amount of fat targeted, and the type of liposuction method. It’s very difficult to give an average price, but you should expect to pay at least $4000 for one of the most common areas targeted: the abdomen. That’s just a base price, though, and it covers the surgery only.
Some clinics offer other services as well, such as post-operative support by a registered nurse, so you should expect to pay additional fees for them.
But don’t shop around – because it’s your health, it’s better to select a physician depending on their experience, ability and how they treat you. It’s important if you feel comfortable with a physician and can trust them. Don’t make price a priority.
