According to statistics released by the Harley Medical Group, a leading UK based cosmetic surgery provider, the number of liposuction procedures performed in the UK continues to rise annually by a staggering 27%, despite current unfavourable economic conditions.

Representatives believe that this may be due to how liposuction, and cosmetic surgical procedures in general, are perceived by patients – they don’t see it as a frivolity. Rather, they are considered something as necessary and beneficial. Other expenses are eliminated in order to cover the cost of a procedure.
